Rockies | Tyler Chatwood to pitch in relief
Colorado Rockies SP Tyler Chatwood will "piggyback" SP Jeff Francis in the game against the San Diego Padres Friday, June 29. The team's rotation spot for Sunday, July 1, could be filled by SP Drew Pomeranz. Pomeranz is 4-4 with a 2.51 ERA in nine starts at Triple-A Colorado Springs. Chatwood went 0-2 with a 5.79 ERA with 31 strikeouts and 19 walks in 37 innings at Class AAA (nine starts).
