Tigers | Victor Martinez to undergo MRI

Detroit Tigers C Victor Martinez (knee) will undergo an MRI exam to check his progress from knee surgery Thursday, June 28, and it'll give the team a clearer indication of when Martinez can return later this year. "This is not an earth-shattering MRI," said trainer Kevin Rand. "This is an MRI to assess where he is from a healing perspective. It's not one that will tell you when he's ready to go play."
