Bears | Brian Urlacher says he will be ready for camp

Chicago Bears LB Brian Urlacher (knee) said he is confident he will be ready for the start of training camp. When asked Tuesday, June 26, if he would participate in the first day of camp July 26, Urlacher answered, "for sure." Urlacher was sidelined for voluntary offseason workouts and held out of the team's mandatory minicamp. His offseason rehab consisted of extensive work in the weight room and sprints. "I could have participated in minicamp, but there was no reason to," Urlacher said. "It was three days of stuff that I'm going to be doing at training camp, so there was no real reason to push it."
