Cubs | Ryan Dempster throws on flat ground

Updating a previous report, Chicago Cubs SP Ryan Dempster (lat) was able to throw on flat ground Monday, June 25. It is the first time he has thrown since he landed on the 15-day disabled list June 16 due to a sore right latissimus muscle. He reported no discomfort, and is expected back July 1.
