Rockies | Alex White has plenty to work on

Colorado Rockies manager Jim Tracy said SP Alex White struggled with his fastball command and failed to fool hitters with his secondary pitches. "You get swings from major league hitters on secondary pitches when the pitch out of the hand resembles a strike, but then when it's through the hitting area, it's not a strike," Tracy said. "We are throwing a lot of pitches that out of the hand are balls. The hitters recognize it's a ball and make no offer at it whatsoever."
