Nationals | Ryan Zimmerman playing through shoulder pain
Washington Nationals 3B Ryan Zimmerman (shoulder) is in the starting lineup against the Baltimore Orioles Sunday, June 24, even though both he and manager Davey Johnson have admitted that his right shoulder has been bothering him. Zimmerman, who is 0-for-8 in his last two games, plans to keep playing through the pain for the time being, although he could receive a cortisone injection soon or have a stint on the 15-day disabled list centered around the All-Star break.
