Athletics | Collin Cowgill placed on disabled list

Oakland Athletics OF Collin Cowgill (ankle) has been placed on the 15-day disabled list because of a left ankle sprain. INF Brandon Hicks has been called up from Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move.
