Brewers | Shaun Marcum placed on DL
The Milwaukee Brewers have placed SP Shaun Marcum (elbow) on the 15-day disabled list with elbow tightness. In a corresponding move, the team activated 1B Travis Ishikawa (oblique) from the disabled list.
Fantasy Tip: Marcum underwent Tommy John surgery on his elbow in 2009, and he dealt with soreness in the same elbow for part of the 2010 season. From everything the Brewers are saying, his soreness isn't anything serious or structurally related. He could only miss one start as he's eligible to return June 30.
