49ers | Vernon Davis best tight end ever?

San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis said during a speech to high school student in Washington Friday, June 22, that he will be the best tight end to ever play in the NFL once his career is over. "I will be the best tight end to ever play this game. I have a vision," Davis said. When asked if his goal can be achieved with QB Alex Smith at quarterback, Davis replied, "It can. It doesn't matter. Anything is possible. I say that because ... what can happen? If I don't make it, then I don't make it. It's as simple as that. Ain't nothing nobody can do, ain't nothing nobody can say. But if I do? Then I spoke it into existence."
