Tigers | DL decision for Gerald Laird to come Thursday

The Detroit Tigers will decide whether to place C Gerald Laird (hamstring) on the 15-day disabled list Thursday, June 21. If Laird is healthy enough to serve as the backup to returning C Alex Avila (hamstring), then C Bryan Holaday would be sent to Triple-A Toledo in the corresponding move when Avila is activated.
