NASCAR | High speeds at Michigan
Speeds at the newly paved Michigan International Speedway are reaching dangerous speeds, according to Roush Fenway Racing driver Greg Biffle. "We're approaching some safety concerns at the speeds we are going," said Biffle, after speeds reached 218 mph during the morning session. "We've got to walk that fine line of killing people and creating excitement." However, NASCAR officials have no plans to add restrictor plates at the track.
