Oakland Athletics RP Ryan Cook worked around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday, June 12, against the Colorado Rockies for his first major league save. He also recorded two strikeouts in the 21-pitch effort. Cook is part of a closer-by-committee with RPs Grant Balfour and Brian Fuentes.
