Red Sox | Own longest sellout streak in sports history
The Boston Red Sox now officially own the longest regular-season sellout streak in major professional sports history. The 37,467 in attendance Sunday, June 10, at Fenway Park extended the streak to 745 consecutive games. The Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association held the previous record of 744, set from 1977 to 1995. The streak for the Red Sox started May 15, 2003.
