Padres | Brad Boxberger has contract purchased
Confirming previous reports, the San Diego Padres have optioned P Andrew Cashner to Double-A San Antonio. In corresponding moves, the team has purchased the contract of P Brad Boxberger from Triple-A Tucson and moved SP Tim Stauffer (elbow) from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.
