Twins | Kyle Gibson feels good after bullpen session

Minnesota Twins SP Kyle Gibson (elbow), making his way back from Tommy John surgery, threw a bullpen session from the base of the mound Monday, June 4, for the first time since his surgery in September. He posted on his official Twitter account Wednesday, June 6, that he threw 15 pitches from the mound Wednesday, June 6. Gibson is expected to throw 20 pitches from a mound Friday, June 8, and then 30 pitches from the mound Monday, June 11. The team is targeting a return to game action sometime in August.
