NFL | Arbitrator says players in bounty case can be suspended

Arbitrator Stephen Burbank has ruled that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has the authority to suspend New Orleans Saints LB Jonathan Vilma and DE Will Smith and Cleveland Browns LB Scott Fujita for their involvement in the Saints' bounty program. Burbank said he would like to receive more information about Green Bay Packers DE Anthony Hargrove's participation in the program and retained temporary jurisdiction on his role. The NFL Players Association said it will appeal Burbank's decision.
