Dodgers | Matt Kemp to DL

The Los Angeles Dodgers are placing OF Matt Kemp (hamstring) on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring Thursday, May 31, and are recalling INF Alex Castellanos from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move. Kemp expects to be sidelined for a month.

Fantasy Tip: Expect Kemp to be out for longer this time around. This strain might be more serious, and they'll want to make certain that he's past it before they activate him. Castellanos, 25, isn't a top-notch prospect, but he can play at second base and in the outfield and was tearing it up for the Isotopes. His batting average may not hold up in the long run, but he deserves an add in NL leagues, and mixed players should monitor him.
