Phillies | Do not need fifth starter until June 6

The Philadelphia Phillies have a scheduled day off Thursday, May 31, so they will not need a fifth starter until June 6. With SP Roy Halladay (shoulder) sidelined, SP Vance Worley (elbow) might be needed in that spot. If Worley is unavailable, the team might turn to SPs Dave Bush, Tyler Cloyd or Scott Elarton from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Free-agent SP Roy Oswalt (Phillies) also might be an outside of the organization option.
