Mets | Ike Davis still in danger of demotion
New York Mets 1B Ike Davis could still be sent to the minors, and manager Terry Collins isn't ruling out using OF Lucas Duda or 2B Daniel Murphy at first as a replacement. Duda has been taking grounders at first. OFs Kirk Nieuwenhuis and Mike Baxter could serve as the corner outfielders against righties if Duda is moved to first base. INFs Jordany Valdespin, Zach Lutz or Josh Satin could be recalled if Davis is demoted.
