San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy said 1B Brett Pill started against the Arizona Diamondbacks Sunday, May 13, instead of 1B/OF Brandon Belt, because the team needed a power threat in the cleanup spot with C Buster Posey (ankle) getting the day off.
