Tigers | Miguel Cabrera adjusts stance, catches fire at plate

Detroit Tigers hitting coach Lloyd McClendon had told 3B Miguel Cabrera his hands were too high for a few days but Cabrera couldn't quite make the adjustment at the plate. After some physical adjustment Cabrera's new stance paid off. Cabrera had two hits in the second inning and finished 4-for-5 with three RBIs, snapping an 0-for-14 slump at the plate Thursday, May 10, in a 10-6 win over the Oakland Athletics.
