Rockies | Jeremy Guthrie throws again
Colorado Rockies SP Jeremy Guthrie (shoulder), already scratched from his start Tuesday, May 8, in San Diego, threw a 45-pitch bullpen session on May 6 and tested the right shoulder he sprained in a cycling accident. He said it felt fine and said he's ready to pitch to hitters during live batting practice in San Diego on Tuesday. If all goes well, Guthrie would likely be sent out on a minor-league rehab assignment before rejoining the Rockies' rotation.
