Marlins | Omar Poveda outrighted

Miami Marlins minor league pitcher Omar Poveda was outrighted to Double-A Jacksonville and removed from the Marlins' 40-man roster. Poveda, whom the Marlins obtained in a 2010 trade from the Texas Rangers for Jorge Cantu, recently served a five-game suspension for "conduct detrimental to the team."
