Red Sox | Kevin Youkilis to DL

The Boston Red Sox placed 3B Kevin Youkilis (back) on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday, May 2, with a lower back ailment. Youkilis will need at least three or four more days, if not longer, before he can return. The move was made retroactive to Sunday, April 29.
