Mariners | Alex Liddi to stick in lineup

Seattle Mariners 3B Alex Liddi is making his eighth start in the last 11 games Tuesday, May 1, and manager Eric Wedge said Liddi will continue to see various spots in the lineup. He is playing third base and hitting second Tuesday with 3B Chone Figgins resting. "We're not sure where he's going to end up, but I like having a little pop up at the top of the lineup like that," manager Eric Wedge said of Liddi. "He puts up good at-bats. He doesn't give away at-bats. I just feel good about wherever we put him."
