Buccaneers | Turned down trade to pick Michael Smith
Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik indicated that an undisclosed team offered a sixth round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft to move up to Tampa's spot in the sixth round to pick RB Michael Smith. However, Dominik declined and picked him with the No. 212 pick overall. "I think every time Mark and I watched tape he would jump off the tape at you, just a different kind of speed than everybody else on the field," head coach Greg Schiano said. "How we utilize that is going to be our job."
