Lions | Ryan Broyles will be eased into action
The Detroit Lions have the luxury of slowing bringing rookie WR Ryan Broyles (knee) along in his recovery because they are already deep at wide receiver with Calvin Johnson, Nate Burleson and Titus Young. Broyles, a second-round draft choice, is recovering from a torn ACL and said he is doing everything normal in workouts despite suffering the injury five months before. He wasn't able to give a timetable on when he'll be back at full speed. Broyles projects to be a slot receiver and head coach Jim Schwartz believes Broyles will be able to line up on the inside or out and can also help on punt returns.
