Browns | Brandon Weeden oldest player ever taken in first round
Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden, at 28 years, 195 days, is the oldest player ever to be taken in the first round of the Common Draft era. Weeden is two years younger than Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, and one year older than QB Brady Quinn, who is the last QB the team selected in the first round. "We went through the process of evaluating him, we became very fond of him," head coach Pat Shurmur said.
