Nationals | Chien-Ming Wang to make rehab start Saturday
Washington Nationals SP Chien-Ming Wang (hamstring) will officially begin his minor-league rehab assignment Saturday, April 28, when he starts for Class A Potomac. Wang tossed three innings in an extended spring game Monday, April 23. Wang will have a 65-pitch cap Saturday, and manager Davey Johnson said Wang will need to throw at least 85 pitches in an outing before the team considers activating him. He will be held to 75 pitches in his second outing, so he won't be back until at least early to mid-May.
