Colts | Mora Wants To Stay
Michael Marot reports for the Associated Press an emotional Jim Mora said after Sunday's game he wants to remain coach of the Indianapolis Colts. "I will not quit. I will not quit," Mora said. "I want to coach here, I should be the coach here." Team president Bill Polian declined to answer questions about Mora's security following a 6-10 season. Mora has one more season remaining on his five-year contract. A large part of the Colts problem was a defense that ranked among the worst in the league against the run, against the pass and in scoring. Mora said he met with Polian regarding defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, but he would not dicuss any details. Mora defended Fangio as one of the best defensive minds in the game.
