Twins | Scott Baker has Tommy John surgery

Updating a previous report, a Minnesota Twins official said Tuesday, April 17, that SP Scott Baker (elbow) actually underwent Tommy John surgery, rather than just having surgery to clean scar tissue on a flexor pronator. In addition, the team holds a team option of $9.25 million on Baker next year, and it is unlikely they'll pick it up after Tommy John surgery.
