Tampa Bay Rays 2B Jeff Keppinger will serve as the designated hitter for the team's opening day game against the New York Yankees Friday, April 6, with 2B Ben Zobrist starting in right field and SS Elliot Johnson at second base. OF Matt Joyce will start in left field.
