Yankees | Andy Pettitte to remain in Tampa

New York Yankees SP Andy Pettitte said Wednesday, April 4, that he expects to remain in Tampa, pitching either in extended spring training or with the team's Class A Tampa team in the Florida State League. He is still focused on May 1 as a possible return date. Pettitte says he hasn't talked to the team about a definitive plan going forward, but he would like to face Double-A and Triple-A hitters at least once before getting back on a big league mound.
