Lions | May look for RB depth in draft
Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew said the team will face backfield depth issues if RBs Mikel Leshoure (Achilles') and Jahvid Best (concussion) aren't productive in 2012. The Lions are prepared to add depth at running back in the NFL Draft if the right player is available in the later rounds. "As you probably have noticed, backs have really been devalued in the NFL," Mayhew said. "The free-agent backs this year aren't getting very much play. There could be some guys that slip (to later rounds) that are really talented."
