Rays | Burke Badenhop has improved slider
Tampa Bay Rays RP Burke Badenhop, who is fighting for the last available bullpen spot, has been working on a different slider in spring training, which he hopes will help him achieve more success against lefties. "My slider typically is more 'slurvey,'" Badenhop said. "I was trying to throw a cutter, and it turned out to be a true slider. It's a little firmer, it's a little shorter, it's on the plate longer. It's been pretty decent so far. I'm pretty happy with that."
