49ers | Mario Manningham contract update

Updating previous items, San Francisco 49ers WR Mario Manningham's two-year deal is worth up to a total of $7.375 million. In addition to the base salaries of $1.2 million in 2012 and $3.6 million in 2013, the deal includes a $2 million signing bonus. The entire $1.2 million in 2012 is guaranteed, while only $1.25 million of the $3.6 million in 2013 is guaranteed. As a result, the 49ers could cut Manningham after the 2012 season having only paid him $4.7375 million, including a roster bonus of $187,500 and a workout bonus of $100,000.
