Angels | Will carry extra position player
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim manager Mike Scioscia will temporarily carry an extra position player to open the season, as the team will not need a fifth starter until April 15. That means the doors is open for 2B Alexi Amarista, 1B Jorge Cantu, OF Ryan Langerhans (illness) and SS Andrew Romine.
