Broncos | Peyton Manning has plenty of work to do
Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning (neck) still has a ways to go before he is back at 100 percent health. "I have some strength that I have to get back," Manning told reporters Tuesday, March 20. In a little more than a year, Manning has undergone four neck surgeries. "I have a lot of work to do. I'm not where I need to be," he said.
Three separate doctors from three separate medical teams have all told Manning that he will completely recover. During the short term, Manning has said his most important coaches in Denver will be the team's training coaches, including strength-and-conditioning coach Luke Richesson and trainer Steve "Greek" Antonopulos. Antonopulos plans to consult with the Colts' trainers, compare notes and determine the best way to treat Manning's nerve and strength issues moving forward.
