White Sox | Gavin Floyd throws simulated game

Chicago White Sox SP Gavin Floyd pitched on the back fields Sunday, March 18, due to rain in the forecast. Originally he was expected to start the Cactus League game against the Chicago Cubs. He threw a five-inning simulated game, and looked good, according to manager Robin Ventura. "With the rain, we didn't want to chance it bringing him here and starting and stopping things like that," Ventura said. "So we kind of moved him up."
