San Francisco Giants SP Eric Surkamp allowed one run on four hits over four innings in a win over the Chicago Cubs Friday, March 16. He has a chance to begin the season as the team's No. 5 starter if SP Ryan Vogelsong (back) is placed on the disabled list.
