The Boston Red Sox 3B Will Middlebrooks and OF Che-Hsuan Lin were optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket Friday, March 16. P Drake Britton and 2B Oscar Tejeda were optioned to Double-A Portland and Ps Tony Pena Jr., Chorye Spoon and Alex Wilson and OF Juan Carlos Linares were reassigned to minor league camp.
