Twins | Jason Marquis sees positive results
Minnesota Twins SP Jason Marquis was roughed up in his first Grapefruit League start Monday, March 5, so he worked with pitching coach Rick Anderson in between starts to make adjustments. He rebounded nicely Friday, March 9, in his second spring start, allowing just one run and three hits over three innings against the St. Louis Cardinals. "I've been working hard to get my delivery right because in the last game, it felt like my arm angle was dragging a little bit and I wasn't able to get any life on the ball," Marquis said. "I made a slight adjustment to my windup with Andy, and threw back-to-back bullpens just to make sure I was right coming into today. And so I was able to do a better job of that."
