Giants | Tim Lincecum not worried about results
San Francisco Giants SP Tim Lincecum said he's not worried about his spring results yet after giving up five runs and seven hits in two innings against the Colorado Rockies Wednesday, March 7. He has yet to incorporate his slider into his repertoire this spring. "It's when you try to stress getting deeper into your pitch counts," Lincecum said when asked when the numbers will start to take significance. "It's when you get to that 100-(pitch) peak and you gauge what you would try to do, because that is more realistic. It is more around the number of pitches you'd get in a regular-season game." He's not sure when he'll start throwing breaking pitches.
