Broncos | Will inquire about Peyton Manning
The Denver Broncos are expected to place a phone call to free-agent QB Peyton Manning's (Colts) agent, Tom Condon, to gauge their chances of signing him, according to an NFL source close to the situation. If Manning's contract can be structured so that the team would be protected in case his troublesome neck becomes an issue, the Broncos could well be players. However, the team might not get in a serious bidding war because of current starting QB Tim Tebow, who did help lead Denver to the playoffs this past season.
