Lions | Cliff Avril happy with tag but wants long-term deal

Detroit Lions franchise free-agent DE Cliff Avril said he is fortunate to receive the franchise tag but hopes to receive a long-term contract from the team in the near future. The two sides will have until July 15 to agree on a long-term deal.
