Buccaneers | Connor Barth will be re-signed or franchised

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ready to tag PK Connor Barth as their franchise player Monday, March 5, if they are not able to work out a long-term contract with him before the 4 p.m. ET deadline. Barth, who made $1.835 million last year, hit 26 of his 28 field goal attempts and made all 23 of his extra points last season. If he is franchised, he would be guaranteed almost $2.6 million for 2012.
