Chiefs | Will not overpay to keep Brandon Carr

The Kansas City Chiefs will not pay impending free-agent CB Brandon Carr No. 1 cornerback money in order to keep him this offseason because they signed CB Stanford Routt. Carr likely would have to accept a hometown discount in order to remain with the team.
