Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning (neck) was targeting a Week 16 return this season and wanted to take part in mostly red zone situations where his arm strength would be less of a factor. Manning was not cleared to play by the team physician because he did not have full range of motion in his neck. Manning took part in a workout before not being cleared and was throwing at around 80 percent of his normal velocity. He also could not throw more than 20 to 22 yards at a time and several of his passes wobbled in the air.
