Falcons | Curtis Lofton seen as liability in third-down situations

Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Mike Nolan wants to remove LB Curtis Lofton out of the team's "sub" third-down coverage schemes, as he is seen as a liability in third-down situations. Re-signing the superb two-down linebacker is a priority for the team, however. Lofton is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent March 13.
