Free-agent SP Javier Vazquez (Marlins) has elected to retire, but some feel a team could get him to come back at the right price and situation. "If you can land him, he'd be the perfect fourth or fifth starter on a contending staff," one American League general manager said. "He pitched last year like he used to pitch when he was in Atlanta. If there are family issues, you understand his reasoning for hanging it up, but performance-wise, he's as good as he's ever been."
